Each year, students, faculty and alumni travel away from leadership comfort zones to study through the lens of students, parents, teachers and educational leaders.

  Silicon Valley (2016)

MCDPEL travels to Silicon Valley March 21-25, 2016 to spent a week based at Penn's Wharton San Francisco campus, and traveling daily to schools and companies through a leadership lens looking at brain-based design, networks, collaboration in and outside of the organization and actively participate in entrepreneurial edleadership activities, hackathons, edcamps and panic rooms.

MCDPEL traveled to South Dakota April 6-10, 2015 and spent a week living on the Pine Ridge reservation. The team studied through the lenses of reservation students, educators, community members and teacher/leadership preparation students at Oglala Lakota College.
